Maintenance Methods to Prevent Malfunctions.
1. Washing Machine and Dryer Cleaning
1-1. For washing machines, clean using a drum cleaner approximately every 6 months. You can use a commercially available drum-specific cleaner.
1-2. For dryers, it is essential to clean the lint filter daily. If usage is high, clean it up to 3 times a day. If usage is low, open the front panel every 3 to 6 months to clean all the dust to prevent spontaneous combustion and maintain optimal performance. (Neglecting the lint filter cleaning may cause fire hazards)
2. For washing machines, it’s recommended to use liquid detergent instead of powder detergent for long-term use without blockages or residues.
Powder detergent is an alkaline detergent that works well for stubborn stains and has strong cleaning power but may cause color fading and residue. Liquid detergent, on the other hand, doesn’t leave residue, is neutral, and protects delicate fabrics. It also dissolves well in water.
3. If using well water, there is a risk of blockages in the electronic valve and other valves due to lime deposits, so using tap water is recommended.
4. Consumables such as belts, panels, and motors wear out depending on usage. It is recommended to have a periodic inspection by an expert at least once a year.
